We are a software company in Nairobi, Kenya. We build and run our own products — Shopinn, where Kenyans buy from local sellers, and Sendway, which carries their parcels across the country — and we build software for other businesses too.

We are a technology company in Nairobi, wholly Kenyan-owned, working from Viewpark Towers on Utalii Lane. We started by building for ourselves: we wanted a better way for Kenyans to buy from the shops around them, and a dependable way to get a parcel from one town to another. Those two ideas became Shopinn and Sendway.
Running our own products taught us the parts nobody sees — taking payments over M-Pesa, moving goods to towns far from the city, and keeping it all working on an ordinary phone and an ordinary connection. That is the experience we now bring to other businesses who want software of their own.

Shop from Kenyan sellers, delivered to you
Shopinn is our online marketplace. Shoppers browse thousands of products from sellers around the country, agree a price by chat, pay with M-Pesa and get their order brought to their door or to a pickup point near them. Sellers get a full shop of their own without building a website.

Send a parcel anywhere in Kenya
Sendway moves parcels around the country. Book a delivery from your phone, hand the parcel over, and we bring it to a collection point in the destination town. The person receiving it collects with a code sent to them, so nothing leaves our hands to the wrong person.

Book in a couple of taps, pay with M-Pesa now or when you drop the parcel off, and watch it move until it is collected.
If you’re receiving
We tell you the moment your parcel reaches your town, and you collect it from the nearest point with a code that is yours alone.

What does Fecn Technologies do?+
We make two apps of our own. Shopinn is an online marketplace where you buy from Kenyan sellers and have your order delivered to you. Sendway sends parcels to towns across the country. We also build software for other businesses, including custom and customized ERP systems.
Who is Fecn?+
Fecn is Fecn Technologies Ltd, a wholly Kenyan-owned software company based at Viewpark Towers, Utalii Lane, Nairobi. We are the company behind the Shopinn marketplace and the Sendway parcel service, and we build custom software and ERP systems for other businesses.
What is Shopinn?+
Shopinn is our online marketplace. You browse products from sellers around Kenya, chat and agree a price with the seller, pay with M-Pesa, and get your order brought to your door or to a pickup point near you. If you sell, you can open your own shop on it in minutes and run everything from your phone.
What is Sendway?+
Sendway is our parcel service. You book a delivery from your phone, hand the parcel over, and we take it to a collection point in the destination town. Whoever is receiving it collects using a code sent only to them, and both of you can follow the parcel the whole way.
Are Shopinn and Sendway free to join?+
Yes — creating an account on either is free, for shoppers, sellers and senders alike. You only pay for what you buy or send.
Do you build ERP systems, or can you customize an existing one?+
Both. We build custom ERP systems from the ground up and we also customize, extend and integrate existing ERPs. Our Alymali ERP — covering procurement, stock, production, finance and payroll across multiple branches — is one we designed and built end to end.
Can you build ERP for my specific industry?+
Yes. We design ERP modules — inventory, procurement, sales, finance, HR, payroll and operations — around how your business actually works, rather than forcing you into off-the-shelf software. We have shipped ERP for milling and manufacturing and can tailor it to your sector.
What products has Fecn built?+
Our flagship products are Shopinn (a multi-vendor e-commerce marketplace with its own logistics) and Sendway (a licensed parcel-delivery and courier platform). As part of our services we have also built the Alymali ERP, a custom maize-milling and manufacturing system. All are in production.
Can you integrate M-Pesa and card payments?+
Absolutely. Payments are core to what we do. We integrate M-Pesa (STK push and B2C), cards and wallets across web and mobile.
